Tune in on the 2nd Thursday of every month at 8:30 AM to “The River Trip.” Set your dial in the Four Corners area to 90.5 FM or stream it live at www.ksjd.org. DRBA hosts this 30 minute program to celebrate river running on the Dolores and keep the whitewater community up-to-date. Join us!
River runners from across the country realize what a gem we have in the Dolores River. Whitewater enthusiasts come from all over for the wilderness experience of floating the remote canyons and for the thrill of the rapids. And every trip creates at least one story. We want to hear those stories, capture them and share them with the community. Not everyone understands why we are so passionate about protecting the Dolores. What better way to share our passion than through our stories? If you have a Dolores River story to tell, email us or call. We want to hear from you, even if you don’t want to be on the air!
In addition to tales of adventure, hilarity and river-running history, you will hear news of upcoming events and updates on river issues. Being effective advocates for the river means being well-informed and unified as a community. Listen and find out how you can be involved! Don’t miss the boat!
Our first show airs on Thursday, Feb. 14 at 8:30 AM–Valentines Day. Tune in to hear how 2 sisters found love and husbands, thanks to the river! It’s guaranteed to warm your heart and brighten your day. If you miss the live show, all the programs will be archived on the Audio page of KSJD’s website: www.ksjd.org.
